在Google Maps查詢香港地址

今早Felix在Twitter上公告，Google Maps支援香港地區的街道搜尋。於是我就跑了上Google Maps上試。

試用這些新加的功能，當然就先試英文，所以就輸入了「110 Nathan Road」(老實講，我真的不知這地址是甚麼地方。以下提及的地址，我也不盡知是甚麼地方)，果然找到。

英文地址成功了，於是就試中文地址。「110 Nathan Road」，翻成中文就是「彌敦道110號」，可是「彌敦道110號」卻只得出「Your search for 彌敦道110號 around this map area did not match any locations.」。可是我成死不服氣，於是又試「彌敦道110」，這次終於成功。原來中文地址，輸入街道與門牌之後，是不能輸入「號」字。又例如皇后大道西100，甚至是一些比較偏遠的街道，如寮肚路3，都可成功找出來。現在，Google Maps對我們來說，就真的十分有用了。

此外，某些著名的地點也可以找到如香港大學及香港中文大學，但查詢「香港城市大學」時，卻去了日本，要輸入「City University of Hong Kong」才可以正確地找到。

另外，自My Maps面世之後，其實有不少人已經將香港的資料，因此你除了可以找到官方資料外，也可能會找到其他用戶輸入的資料。
