與Vaio
周四應Sony邀請，參加了他們搞的Blogger聚會。同場共有10位Blogger出席，一同見證他們的最新Notebook Vaio P登陸香港。
早在上星期，Vaio P之風已經吹襲本港不少討論區。很多人談論的，都是其價錢，因為Vaio P相對其他Netbook的價錢，似乎高了一點，但這似乎也是大家預期了。
高了點價錢的Vaio P，又如何吸引大家去付款買下它呢？纖薄的機身大概是一大賣點吧。它僅重594g，而機身只有245 x 120 x 19.8 mm。但細小的機身不代表所看到的東西也少了，因為其8″屏幕竟可達1600 x 768的解像度。換言之，我們可以把兩個Web Browser平排放在一起，瀏覽及比較資訊。鍵盤的手感似乎也不錯。
Vaio P使用Windows Vista Home Premium作為作業系統，在Atom Z CPU支持之下，開機時間大概2分半鐘，但在運作時Vista的確會是Vaio P的一個挑戰。如果你需要快快開機來看圖片或影片，甚至趕著Check Email，可以使其Instant Mode，大概20秒就可以開機。至於這個Instant Mode，小Jan會稍後另出一文介紹，到時更有Video讓大家了解得更詳細。
它配備McAfee SecurityCenter及Microsoft Office Prfessional 2007，但兩者分別是90日及60日的試用版。
不過這未必是重點所在，因為在我印象中，Sony機一向都有附送一些華實並重的軟件。記得我買Sony Clie TH55時，那個Launcher真的令我愛不釋手。在Vaio P也有一系列這類的軟件，其中ArcSoft WebCam Companion就讓我們用其Motion Eye來拍照及加上各種有趣的Effect。
Vaio P其實太好玩，令我在Blogger聚會那晚，只能發現了部份軟件方面的好東西。希望遲點當Vaio P到時時，有機會再多寫一點來介紹。

instant mode 可以開到browser和IM嗎？ 搭車時這兩個功能最實用啊.
