Google Toolbar for Firefox 3.0
升級上Firefox 3.0 RC2之後，其中一個遇上的難題就是Google Toolbar與Firefox 3.0互不兼容。因為不想濫用Nightly Tester Tools的高強法力，所以就放棄了Google Toolbar。終於，Google在Firefox 3.0誕生前夕推出了兼容這新版本瀏覽器的Google Toolbar。
不過Google這次更新的Toolbar似乎只解決了兼容問題，卻沒有注入新的功能。

Adobe Dreamweaver CS4公開測試
Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Beta可在Adobe Labs下載。不過，Adobe說明，這試版並不是真的公眾：
The Dreamweaver beta is available in English only to Dreamweaver CS3 users worldwide. It is available to licensed users of Dreamweaver CS3 (full, upgrade, and education) and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Standard, Web Premium, or Design Premium (full, upgrade, and education).
所以你必須要有他們所說的任何一款軟件的Serial Number，才可試用。否則你只可以試玩兩天。兩天？可以試到甚麼？不過，老實說，現在要用Dreamweaver這類軟件的機會真的已經不多了，所以不讓我試用也不打緊。
此外，在Adobe TV也有一些有關Dreamweaver CS4的影片，讓大家對這軟件了解更加多。

Microsoft的觀星軟件WorldWide Telescope
Microsoft Research推出了一個很有趣的產品：WorldWide Telescope。這個望遠鏡軟件讓用戶安坐電腦前面，便可以觀看宇宙星體。Microsoft是這樣介紹這軟件的：
Want to see the same images that scientists at NASA use for their research or perform your own research with those images? Or do you want to see the Earth from the same perspective that astronauts see as they descend to Earth? How about taking a 5 minute break and viewing a panorama of a different city?
Microsoft Office Labs的Screencast軟件
Microsoft Office Labs推出了一款Screencast軟件，名為Community Clips。既然稱得上「Community Clips」，就即是又能錄Clip，又有Community功能。當中所謂的Community功能，就是提供了Soapbox這個影片分享網站給大家使用。當你完成了錄製影片之後，它就會提供一個介面讓你上載影片。

Alert Thingy把FriendFeed帶到桌面
Alert Thingy是一個FriendFeed的Desktop Client。
這款以Adobe AIR為基礎的軟件介面有如一款IM軟件，而它每隔一段時間，便會顯示FriendFeed之中，朋友的更新資訊。用起來也算是方便。當某些FriendFeed之內的項目有人Like或Comment時，Alert Thingy便又會把這項目拉到最頂的位置。

Google Apps郵件過戶工具
Google推出了一款讓Outlook用戶把郵件「上載」至Gmail / Google Apps的小軟件，名為The Google Email Uploader。它支援Outlook 2003或以上的版本。
BlueScreen Screen Saver
微軟幽了自己一默，出了一個BlueScreen Screen Saver，適合Win NT 4.0、Win 2000、Win XP、Windows Server 2003及9x系列的Windows使用。
可惜我的電腦是Vista，未能為大家送上一個Screen Cap。
Error Messages for Windows
Windows用戶經常遇到的其中一個難題，就是其Error Message經常只有Error Code，而沒有實在地描述那些甚麼的Error。
Error Messages for Windows這小軟件就是讓你查詢每個Error Code背後的意思，好讓你明白系統出了甚麼錯誤。

Google Calendar Sync
Google終於正式推出了一個Sync Tool，讓用戶可以同步更新Microsoft Outlook及Google Calendar內的日程資料。用戶可以選擇單向或雙向更新資料，以及每隔多少分鐘進行一次同步更新。
美國軟件盜版狀況報告。
美國軟件業商會在他們的SIIA Anti-Piracy 2007 Year in Review列出了10大最受盜版侵權的軟件，當中Adobe受最大影響。Adobe Acrobat、Adobe Photoshop以及Adobe Dreamweaver均榜上有名(其實Dreamweaver在Macromedia時代已經很受影響了)：

Mozilla Messenging走出電郵的框架
看了幾則有關Mozilla Messenging的報導，當中他們的視野的確有點令我佩服。
Mozilla走出Thunderbird，因為在他們未來的計劃中，這個產品已經不單是一個電郵軟件，而是一個訊息系統。現時的Thunderbird主要是照顧電子郵件，再加上新聞小組(Newsgroup)及RSS的功能。
