Bill Gates答Tweet問

早前Twitter創辦人Jack Dorsey為幾個Twitter用戶向Bill Gates提問。當中的一些問答的確是發人深省的。

Javier F. Escribano問「若你回到20歲，你會做甚麼？希望在哪方面發展呢？」 (if you were 20 years old now, what would you do? which area?)

Bill Gates在科技上點出了四個他很多興趣的範疇，包括big data、machine learning、genomics及ubiquitous computing。

不過他更特意提出一個科技以外議題「全球的貧窮問題」。他表示自己年青時沒太多時間注意這問題，令他有點後悔。他回應Javier說現今的年輕人有很便利的通訊科技，應好好利用這些技術來了解這個全球的問題。

另一條有意義的問題來自Shawn Isaac。他希望知道Bill Gates對付全球的小兒麻痺症後，下一步要處理哪一種疾病呢。 (what disease is he going to conquer after polio?)

先談談背景，Bill Gates的基金一直在研究如何對處小兒麻痺症。根據Bill Gates表示現在的成效已經不錯，全球只剩下三個地方還存有這病，就是尼日利亞、阿富汗及巴基斯坦。現在他還在研究藥物對抗瘧疾及結核病。

Dan Pierson的問題也是挺有意義的。他挑戰Bill Gates說，你的資源很豐富，但有甚麼東西你是最難以改變呢？ (with all of the massive resources at your disposal, where do you feel least able to affect change in a meaningful way?)

Bill Gates的答案也很精彩。不論你有多富有，但你每天也只得24小時，所以必須要定清自己的優先次序。而家人及工作永遠是Bill Gates要優先處理的事情。
